Happy Holidays!
SIMS Christmas Angels:
The holiday season is quickly approaching. For most of us this will be a joyous time with our family and friends. Hopefully, this will be a season to give thanks, enjoy delicious foods, exchange gifts and expressions of good tidings, and celebrate our many holiday traditions. Unfortunately, not all families are looking forward to this Christmas holiday.
This year has been particularly difficult for families trying to make ends meet by keeping the lights on and food on the table. The Columbia County Foundation for Children collects hundreds of requests from families in need of assistance during the holidays. Because of the economic hard times, they currently have over 650 children on the list who need Christmas assistance!
SIMS will sponsor 28 children this year. Each homeroom will sponsor an “angel” as well as the various departments (career connections, administration, media center, special services and secretaries), Together, we will make a difference in the lives of many children this holiday season!
For most of these children, the gifts we provide will be the only gifts they receive this Christmas. Please help us make many children’s eyes sparkle!
Please ask your child about the Angel in their homeroom. Thank you for support and donations!

December 7th-14th ~ Candy Grams for $1.00 These will be sold in lobby before homeroom.
December 15th ~ Candy Grams are delivered in the morning!
