Welcome to the Media Center!
The media center at North Columbia Elementary invites students to come and relax as they browse our collection of more than 10,000 books. The Media Center offers a wide range of titles to accomodate our avid readers. Students also have access to a variety of Reference materials including those in print and on-line. This year we added a listening center to provide our younger students with an opportunity to enjoy books on tape.
Throughout the year, the Media Center sponsors activities to encourage to reading. Some of these include: Book Fair, Visiting Author/Illustrators, Book Surprises, Genre Club (Grades 4 and 5), and Read Across America Week. |
