About the teacher... |
| Miss Elizabeth Getha grew up in Columbia County and graduated from Evans High School. She then attended Augusta State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education degree. She was the Georgia President for the Student Professional Association of Georgia Educators and continues to take an active role in the Professional Association of Georgia Educators. She considers Evans Elementary her second home as she attended this school as an elementary student and her mother is a para-professional for Mrs. Kuhlke in the second grade. She loves to teach science and make learning fun for her students. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, attending Mass, being outdoors, and shopping. She is the daughter of William and Linda Getha of Evans, Georgia and the sister of Heather Getha-Taylor of Syracuse, New York. She is engaged to be married June 16, 2007 to Christopher Howlett of Martinez, Georgia. |
