LAKESIDE MIDDLE SCHOOL GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT
The focus of the guidance and counseling program is to help students recognize their personal strengths and weaknesses and to encourage them to develop plns for personal growth. The counselors are also available to consult with parents about concerns they mayu have regarding their child.
The counselors provide opportunities for classroom guidance activities, small group counseling sessions, and individual counseling appointments. In addition, the counselors provide information on careers, study skills, decision making skills, and other life skills.
