Special Message from Mr. Weinand |
| In order to keep everyone safe in the parking lot, we are asking you to keep the following rules in mind. The speed limit for the parking lot is 5 mph. Please refrain from talking on your cell phone in the parking lot. Always use the crosswalk if you are walking across the pickup and drop off lanes. Also, we are very lucky that the church next door allows us to use their parking lot. They only ask that no one parks in the handicapped spaces at any time. |
Colors |
For the next 2 week, we will be talking about colors. Each day will be a different 'color day'. Your child is encouraged to wear the color of the day.
Mon., Aug. 25 - Red
Tues., Aug. 26 - Blue
Wed., Aug. 27 - Yellow
Thur., Aug. 28 - Purple
Fri., Aug. 29 - Orange
Tues., Sept. 2 - Green
Wed., Sept. 3 - Brown
Thur., Sept. 4 - Pink
Fri., Sept 5 - Black or White |
Room Mom |
| Mrs. Holz has graciously agreed to serve as our room mother for the year. She will be coordinating celebrations. If you would like to provide a special snack for your child's birthday, please let Mrs. Sutherland or me know. |
PACT Time |
| You are invited to come for PACT (Parent and Child Together) Time starting September 1. When you come, please remember to sign your child’s page in our PACT Time book. You may come anytime except rest time and certain P. E. days. Check with us for the P. E. schedule. |

Library Notes |
A library book came home with your child on Friday. They are allowed to keep it at home and read with you for one week. Please return it by Friday so that they may check out another one on our next visit to the media center. You may keep it until Friday or return it a day earlier, if you are afraid you might forget on Friday.

Piicture Reminder |
| Individual school pictures will be taken on Wednesday, August 27th. |
Weekend Wash |
We will send home blankets, sheets, etc. on Fridays. Will you kindly launder them and return on Monday? Thanks! If your child brings home soiled clothes any day, please send replacements the next day. Also, please write your child’s name on EVERYTHING he or she brings to school!
