The Process
|
| When you view a very short clip of students racing on carpet squares, or opening books with the wave of a hand, several thoughts may pop into your head. "How did they do that?" "That was funny!" or even "That was short!" may be among them. But before the clip is made, the students follow a process that includes brainstorming, writing, sequencing, planning, and staging. Since the photos are taken from one spot, and the students must visualize the "movement" they want to portray, the entire plan has to be solidly decided on before production begins. Our class mantra has become "No Plan, No Production!" |
