Current Schedule:
The next three weeks we will be learning about "Africa Today". Most of this information will be coming from Chapters 9 through 13 in the textbook. I will also be using information from various other sources.
DO NOT LET YOUR STUDENT FORGET ABOUT THE ABC'S for AFRICA PROJECT that is due in November.

Mr. Hyer's Biography |
I am retired from the U.S. Navy where I was a telecommunications specialist. My last assignment was as the Instructor Supervisor and Course Manager for a satellite communications course at Fort Gordon. While on active duty, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics from Southern Illinois University. I also earned my Master Training Specialist designator. I am currently finishing my Master of Arts in Teaching at Augusta State. In addition to Augusta, I have been stationed in Virginia, California, South Carolina, Guam (almost 8 years), and Diego Garcia (a tiny coral atoll in the Indian Ocean). I have served on destroyers, aircraft carriers, and a civilian salvage ship. I am originally from Columbus, Indiana. |
