Earth Science
Landforms of Georgia

On Earth's surface, there are forces such as wind, ice, and water that cause changes to the Earth's surface. Inside the Earth, forces from plates moving cause changes to the Earth's surface through earthquakes, volcanoes and mountains.

Georgia has different types of features, or landforms. Landforms are made by constructive and destructive forces within Earth. Scientists use technology to alter and protect landforms.
