First Grade Letter |
May 16, 2008
Dear Parents,
What a busy week we had! Field Day on Tuesday was a huge success. A big thank you goes out to the many parents who helped with the various stations. Our students did a wonderful job presenting our play GO FISH to students and parents. Again, we would like to say thank you to all our parents. We could not have done it without your help and enthusiasm!
We will spend the last 4 days of school reading the trade book If You Give a Pig a Pancake by Laura Numeroff, as well as other books, and have some fun accompanying activities planned. We are so very proud of how much our students have learned this year. Reading has opened many new and exciting doors for them. There are numerous summer programs offered at the various local libraries. We hope you will continue to READ!
This will be our last First Grade Letter, so once again THANK YOU for all of your help and support this year. You are such a vital part of your childs school experience. Please continue to stay involved in his or her education.
Sincerely,
The First Grade Teachers
