For 4th and 5th grade students who enjoy singing
MES has an unauditioned chorus for students who enjoy singing. Members learn songs in many styles, from classical to rap, from the U.S. and all around the world. The Chorus performs at school functions, such as PTO meetings and the Dinner On the Grounds. In the community, Chorus helps lead the county's tree lighting sing-along each year, as well as performing for residents at two local nursing facilities. |

Each year, the best elementary singers from across the state join together for Statewide Elementary Honor Chorus, with participating schools nominating up to four of their best singers. It is indeed an honor to be counted among the best! These students work with well-known conductors for just two days, preparing for what is always a wonderful concert. Congratulations to MES students Josh, Rebecca, Amy, and Allison, who were given this wonderful opportunity! |
