I graduated from Augusta State University with a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education. My teaching certification is in Pre-K through 5th grade. I grew up in the Columbia County area. I attended Westmont Elementary School, Columbia Middle School, and Evans High School.
I completed my Masters degree in Education this past summer. Graduation will be in December. I am married and have an eight year old daughter that is in third grade here at River Ridge Elementary. This is my fifth year teaching. I have taught all years in 2nd grade.
Teaching is one of the most amazing and rewarding professions. I realize that teaching someone's child is both a privilege and an enormous responsibility. I hope that your child's learning experience in my classroom is memorable, motivating, and life changing.
