We have now learned all of the alphabet sounds and are now learning about long vowels and conconant blends. We are also learning to blend these sounds together to make words. We are also learning about the different types of sentences (telling, asking, and exclamatory).
In math we are comparing numbers using the symbols for greater than, less than, and equal to.
In Science we are learning about the weather.

A little bit about Mrs. Rittwage I graduated from ASU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been teaching kindergarten and first grade for 9 years. I am a wife and mother of 3 boys (Sam - 2nd, Tron - 5th, and James - 10th). In my spare time, I like to read and go to the movies. |
