| Mrs. Sabo |
Mrs. Sabo's 2009-2010 Class Dear Students and Parents, I am so excited about this school year. Third grade is going to be a bit harder than second grade, but I know everyone has grown up some over the summer and will be able to deal with any challenges. I am looking forward to helping everyone reach their potential in all subject areas. This can only be accomplished, however, with the combined efforts of teacher, child, and parent. For the 2009-2010 school year I will be teaming with Mrs. Correia. Each class will have Language Arts (Reading, English, Spelling) with their homeroom teacher at the beginning of the day, then I will teach all students Math, and Mrs. Correia will alternate teaching Science and Social Studies. Please refer to our website frequently. It contains valuable information about third grade expectations and up-coming events. I look forward to seeing you at Open House August 6th. Sincerely, Mrs. Kambria Sabo, Ed.S. (706) 447-1016 Ext. 5830 Room 300

| The Sabo Family |
About Mrs. Sabo I began my career teaching 3rd grade at Thomson Elementary School. I spent 2 years there and then came to Columbia County to teach 4th grade for 3 years at Westmont Elementary. I decided to transfer to River Ridge Elementary when it opened so I could go back to teaching 3rd grade. I have a Bachelor of Science from Augusta State University in Early Childhood Education, a Master of Education from ASU in Educational Leadership, and a Specialist of Education from ASU in Educational Leadership as well. Reading is a passion of mine. My favorite time of the day is when I read aloud to students and use different voices for each character. My favorite book is Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Patterson. However, I sure do laugh myself to tears reading Fourth Grade Rats by Jerry Spinelli. My husband is a musician who plays guitar and sings around town and in various other events and places in the Southeast. He also owns Coda Entertainment a music promotion and booking business. We have a six year old son, Christian, who loves candy, costumes, books, and video games. We have a little girl, Isabella (Bella), who is 2 years old and loves to sing and dance. I became a teacher in 2000 because I work well with children and love to perform. What other job could be more fun?
