Our Reading Unit theme is "Around the Town." I can hardly believe we are in Unit 3 already! Parents, I strongly encourage you to purchase the newspaper at least once per week and let your child bring in information on events and places in our community. Our children will be learning about why our town has banks, hotels, schools, parks, etc. and what the purpose is of these places.
In Math we are continuing to regroup two digit numbers using addition and subtraction. We have begun a new math program called "Mastering Math Facts." The children will use this program to better learn their addition and subtraction facts. |
