I have a Bachelor's and a Master's from Augusta State University. I will begin to obtain my Educational Specialist's Degree from ASU next summer. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to become a teacher. When I was young, I really enjoyed school and I played school during my spare time. See, kids, your dreams really do come true! Set your goals and achieve them. Don't ever think that something you want is out of your reach. Anything is possible! I am married to Nick Shealy. We have a son, Austin, who is in 5th grade, and a new daughter, Emma. Family is the most important thing to me, and I love to watch my kids grow each and every day to become the person they want to be. I look forward to being your child's teacher this year. We will learn so much from each other and because they are my second family, I will enjoy watching them become unique individuals throughout the year.
