Clear sheets:
STAR note, calendar, daily schedule, sight words, and other important items
Homework Folder (Blue folder)
1. Check and sign the homework folder daily.
2. Homework and notes will be loaded on the left side.
3. All checked papers will come home on the right side. Please clean this out nightly.
4. All money (lunch, field trip, yearbook, T-shirt, etc...) needs to be on the left side. This is the only place we look for it.
5. All notes to and from home need to be on the left side.
6. Please make sure all homework comes to school neat and accurate.
Reading Renaissance (Red folder)
1. TOPS reports are kept on the left-hand side of the folder.
2. RR reading log is kept on the right-hand side of the folder.
*TOPS reports and the RR reading logs will accumulate. Remove at the end of the nine weeks! Please look at the TOPS report and praise your child. If they fail a test, discuss it and help them plan for improvement.
Signed Papers (Yellow folder)
1. Weekly grades go home on Friday and must be signed and returned on Monday.
2. Take time during the weekend to review your child's work.
3. Praise! Praise! Praise!

Open communication is most important to help ensure that your child stays on track and excels to the best of his or her ability. Notes are sent home on a regular basis. Please check the STAR daily.
