Each Science student is required to maintain a "Portfolio" notebook. Their portfolio is a one-inch, 3-ring notebook that is given to the teacher and will be kept in the classroom throughout the school year. Each grading period, designated tests, labs, and projects students complete will be placed into their portfolio, checked, and a grade will be given. Portfolios will be used as a reference tool at the end of the year to help assist students in preparing for the CRCT test. Parents can request to view their child's portfolio at any time by e-mailing the teacher or writing a note stating such.
