Physical Education

Every student at Harlem Middle is required to have health each year. The class will study areas such as Drugs, Alcohol, and Tobacco addiction and safety at home and in the community.
Parents will be notified when the Sex education unit will start and will have the option to not have their child take this part of the course. |

The Physical Education classes are concentrating on fitness this year. Every day the classes will jump rope,exercise,and run for a set length of time. We will then learn skills of the various sports we are studing. Some of the sports are football, basketball,soccer and others. We will spend around two weeks on each sport.
Each student is required to dressout for PE each day. If a students fails to change both his/her shirt and pants they will have written work to do and hand in during class. The students will have points subtracted from their grade each time they do not dress out. |
