Blooming into Third Grade |
| There are many new and exciting things that you will learn in third grade. Third grade provides time for you to enhance and build on reading and writing skills that have been introduced in previous years. Various math skills are introduced this year. Multiplication is a big math skill that is worked on. This is the first year that students have to take and pass the reading portion of the CRCT test. This year you are given a grade in Science and Social Studies. You will also be given a test grade on your AR score each nine weeks. We will work as a community classroom creating an environment that is essential to learning and developing friendships! We will work together as a team making sure that our classroom runs effectively and cooperatively. I look forward to working with each and everyone of my students! We will have a great year! |
