I graduated from The University of Georgia in 2005 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. This is my fourth year of teaching at River Ridge Elementary. This is my third year teaching first grade.
I married my high school sweetheart, Beau, in June 2005. This past May we were blessed with our first child, William. He has added much happiness to our family. My parents and grandparents live in this area, and we enjoy spending time with one another. I have one older sister who lives in Greenville, SC with her husband. Their visits back to Augusta are always a treat!
When I am not spending time with family, I enjoy reading books. I love to vacation at the beach, and read books by the ocean. Beau and I like to relax at the lake in the summer time. I also enjoy walking or jogging in my free time.
I am looking forward to another successful year at River Ridge Elementary. Mrs. Moody and I are thrilled to have your children in our class.

I am happy to be in first grade this year with Mrs. Brandenburg! This will be our first year together and I am delighted to be teaching with her.
My husband Mark and I are both from Evans.
We have four wonderful children, three boys and one precious little girl! Our oldest son Josh just got married. Our son Chandler will be a senior this year at Greenbrier High School. Coleman and our daughter Carson will both be at Riverside Middle School this year. I have decided to go back to college this fall in hopes of someday getting my teaching degree.
I am excited to be with Mrs. Brandenburg this year and am looking forward to getting to know your children. Thank you for allowing Mrs. Brandenburg and myself for the opportunity to work with your children this year. |
