May 19-22, 2008

Dear Parents,
Wow: Our last week! I know the students are excited! Remember our celebration is on Wednesday. Please let me know if you would like to bring in anything for the end of the year celebration. Anyone concerned with CRCT scores be assured that unless I contact you before the end of the year (about signing up for summer school), your child passed the Reading and English for Third Grade. They first send a list of names of students who did not pass.
Thank you again to all you wonderful, supportive parents. It has made your child”¦s school year prosperous and I hope you have had an enjoyable one also. Students need to feel secure and safe; part of that is knowing that you and I have a good, trusting relationship. Good luck next year wherever that takes you and your child. I have truly been pleased to get to know each and every personality this year. I only have 4 more days to enjoy themƒ¼

Reading: We will not have any tests this week.

Language: We are still practicing cursive.

Math: We are working on reviewing some concepts with hand-on activities.

Social Studies/Science: We will take a circulatory quiz on Tuesday (which will be our final grade for the year).

Coming Attractions:

May 21- End of Year celebration 2:30 p.m.
May 22- Last Day of School

Thanks! Have a wonderful summer!!!
Laura Brooks
