 Coil Pots |
Ceramics Students made a small circular slab for the base of their coil pot. Students learned how to make coils and assemble the coils through a process known as “scoring” in order to build up the walls of the pot. Students were given the option to keep the walls of the pot “as is” with visible coils or smooth the walls of the pot with the ceramic tools. Lastly, the students glazed their coil pots with an under glaze and a clear glaze. |
