Coaches Contact Information

Bulldog cheerleaders are at all times representatives of Harlem Middle School, their teammates, their coaches, and their community. Given this fact, cheerleaders must conduct themselves in a fitting and proper manner and should serve as a role model for their peers. A cheerleader is expected to enhance school spirit, motivate team morale and foster school pride. Teamwork, cooperation, commitment and dedication are necessary traits. A demerit system has been created to help things run as smoothly as possible. This system helps parents and cheerleaders understand what is expected of them. Cheerleaders are allotted 75 points. The list of actions below will result in points being taken away when that behavior occurs. If half the points are lost, the cheerleader will be benched for the following game. If all the points are lost, the cheerleader will be dismissed from the squad. A cheerleader’s year begins after try-outs.
