 March 2nd! |
Each year the students, staff and community come together to celebrate Read Across America Day. Traditionally, this event is held nationwide on March 2nd in honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday. We found that one day was not enough time to celebrate the joy of reading, so our celebration is typically 3-5 days during the week of March 2nd. We enjoy speical "Seuss" activities, "celebrity" guest readers, a visit to the Cat in the Hat Cafe, along with lots of fun, games, and prizes. It is an enjoyable week for everyone involved. |
