| This course is an elective credit, meant to get the student on-level when it comes to reading comprehension, writing, etc. We will read(obviously!), write, do grammar, vocabulary, etc. We will also attempt to preview what will be taught in the Literature class. |

WRITE!WRITE!WRITE! The biggest difference between 9th and 10th grade Lit. is the amount of writing. They will be taking their GHSGT at the beginning of their 11th grade year and we try to prepare them for that. The reading material is also a bit "deeper", with focus on literary devices and author's intent. Major readings: Animal Farm, Fahrenhiet 451, Julius Caesar, Antigone, poems, short stories, research process/paper, essays, etc..... |
