If your child needs tutoring for math or social studies please have them sign up to come in at 7:00. Students must have a pass to come to my room. I will be happy to write them one!

Holt Math Book
Regular practice is the key to success in math. Students will be assigned written homework Monday through Thursday. Generally, I do not assign homework on weekends or student holidays. Also, please remind your student to bring pencils to class everyday.
Organization is very important for keeping notes and other tools for studying math. Students are required to keep a notebook. There is a table of contents posted in my room. Please remind your student to keep it up to date.

In math, we are working through Unit 3--Application of Number Operations. In this unit, students will being learning how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions. They will also be working with fractions, decimals, and percents inchangeably. |

In Social Studies, we are continuing our study of Europe. We will be exploring the economic and environment issues in Europe.
