Introduction Life has been improved over the
centries by a large group of unsung heros.
These people make your life easier, faster, and
healthier. You will be taking time to become
the expert of one of the particular unsung
heros and their accomplishments.

You are a part of the staff of the new
Scientists Hall of Fame. You will be creating
a project about your scientist that will be
used to convince the rest of the staff (your
classmates and teacher) that your scientist
should have a display in the Scientists Hall of
Fame.

Remember to include as much
information about your scientist's life and
accomplishments that you can. You should be
able to answer questions about your scientist.
Your presentation should include a visual aide
about your scientist, and representative items
that the scientist is famous for. BE
PERSUASIVE!!!!!

Task You have been appointed to the Board of
Directors of the brand new Scientists Hall of
Fame. Every member of the board must research a
scientist and present their findings to the
board. You must convince the board that your
scientist is worthy of inclusion in the "Hall".

Process

1. Using the Resources page, research your
scientist. If you do not find enough
information, use a multiple-search engine to
find other sites about your scientist.

2. Create a visual presentation of your
scientis. This can be done by using a project board, power point presentation, poster or any other creative way to display the information. Include all important information
about your scientist's life and
accomplishments. Use pictures as well as
written information.

3. Create a pursuasive speech of 3-5 minutes
telling why your researched scientist should be
included in the hall of fame. Be prepared to
present the information to the board.
