Program Information
EIP serves children who may be experiencing academic problems in reading and/or math. The purpose of the program is to provide additional instructional resources to help students obtain the skills they need to reach grade level performance. EIP augments regular classroom instruction. A student works with the EIP teacher for a minimum of 45 minutes daily in each identified subject area.
Parental involvement is vital to the success of our students. We are all members of a team! Please feel free to contact your child's teacher(s) by telephone or e-mail if you have a question or concern or would like to schedule a conference. |

Things to Remember
Please check your child's planner every day for assignments and notes.
It is important to read with your child each evening. Have your son or daughter read out loud to you. You may read orally to him/her also - provide a good "model" for your young reader.
Encourage your child to participate in Accelerated Reader.
In math, regular review of basic facts is highly beneficial.
Weekly papers come home each Tuesday. Remember to review them with your child and sign the top sheet.
