Meet Your Teacher

My name is Michelle Drake. I am currently teaching fifth grade at Cedar Ridge Elementary. I have taught fourth and fifth grades in Columbia County.
I grew up in East Tenessee, and while I was in college, I decided that I wanted to teach students as my profession. I then went on to get my degree, and I relocated to South Carolina to begin my career. While there, I met my husband. After he and I married, I began teaching in Columbia County. I enjoy working with Columbia County students,and I am proud that my son is a student in Columbia County as well.
I have recently received my Masters Degree from Walden University. My degree is in Implementing Technology in the Classroom.
