My Music Philosophy |
Mrs. Judy Dunn, our music specialist, cares about our students coming closer to a clear insight into music and movement that will give each child a basic and fundamental experience making music a very specific media of human expression. Students are given the opportunity to participate in their own musical education and personal growth by listening, singing, moving, playing, and making their own music. Children are allowed to learn musical behavior through behaving in musical ways. As students grow, their musical opportunities grow. Classes are held with our older students allowing them to expand their musical education by participating in Choral Ensembles, Orff Ensembles, Recorder Ensembles, and Composing Activities.
