Reading: Keep on track with your AR goal!
Your child should be reading at least 20 minutes every night! They have an individualized AR goal each quarter. These goals are based on the independent reading level assessed by the STAR reading test and monitored closely by the teacher.

This quarter your child needs to achieve 85% average in comprehension, 100% of their points goal and read books of an average book level of 4.3. |

Words Their Way
Get the Spelling Assignment Chart HERE!
Biweekly, students will have developmentally appropriate spelling words based on their assigned group. The assignment chart is very straight forward in that it lists exactly what is to be done on each day; for classwork and homework. Any work assigned as classwork that is not completed is to be completed at home. Please do the spelling practice test at home on the Tuesday or Wednesday night prior to the test and sign it.
All assignments, including the signed practice test will be turned in with the Spelling test every other Thursday. |
