Guidelines for the Student |
Required Materials: a. three-ring loose-leaf notebook
b. spiral notebook for classroom journal
c. writing supplies
d. textbook
Daily Routine:
a. be seated when bell rings
b. look for instructions/current informationon board
c. raise hand to contribute/do not interrupt teacher
d. stay on assigned task
Makeup Work: a. excused absence allows one week for makeup
b. all makeup is completed outside of class
c. student must request makeup assignments
d. if student is present day of assignment, work is
to be turned in the day of return to school
Grades: a. all grades are given in points; percentage is created
from dividing points accumulated by points possible
Discipline: a. Three Strikes Rule: If student is exhibiting un-
desirable behavior he/she will receive two warnings.
Upon the third occasion, a DR will be issued.
b. Student Handbook is guideline for behavior
Courtesy: a. All students are expected to exhibit courtesy to
fellow students and teacher.
b. Listen to instructions/directions
c. Raise hand for permission to speak/etc.
d. Keep the sense of humor handy! |
