*All students will read one independent reading book each month. Book activities will be completed and presented for a double grade. Activities include: timeline, book sandwich, book-in-a-bag, collage, dress as a character day, book brunch, and powerpoint.

Team 7-2 Management Plan Expectations:
1. Be prepared by having books, pencils, pens, paper, planner and other supplies. 2. Be prompt to class. A CLOSED DOOR indicates student is tardy. Student must get a pass from his/her previous teacher. 3. Show respect for and cooperation in the learning environment. Interference with the teaching or learning of others WILL NOT be tolerated. 4. Sharpen pencils at the beginning of class, BEFORE the teacher starts to teach. 5. No gum or candy allowed in class. 6. Use planner for hall passes. See the back of the planner. Teachers will not issue passes. 7. Permission to leave class is granted for emergencies ONLY. NOT for forgetting materials, this also includes phone calls home.
Consequences:
1. Violation 1: Verbal Warning and/or Silent Lunch Violation 2: Note/Phone Call to parents and/or Email to parents Violation 3: Detention arranged and served in the appropriate teacher’s classroom. 2. Disciplinary Referrals: Written & forwarded to the office for severe infractions. 3. Discipline Log Book: Students sign in the book for all infractions.
Grades:
1. Projects: Due on the due date! Projects are announced well in advance. ·One (1) day late: Less 20 points ·Each additional day late: Less 5 points, up to three days. ·Not accepted after three (3) days late. ·Problems MUST be addressed with the individual teacher.
2. Quiz/Tests: Announced in advance ·Individual grading structure is established per subject/teacher.
3. Homework: ·Homework is checked daily. ·One (1) grade is given at the end of the grading period.
