The following rules and consequences will enable our class to be a pleasant place to learn. There are many positive rewards for children who contribute to a positive learning environment. Some rewards include: “Caught Being Good!” Awards, a lot of praise and positive reinforcement, a special surprise treat now and then, and a great feeling that we've had a great day together!
BASIC RULES:
1. Listen carefully.
2. Follow directions.
3. Work quietly. Do not disturb others.
4. Respect school and personal property.
5. Work and play safely.
CONSEQUENCES:
1. Mark on desk chart - warning
2. Second mark on desk chart - miss 5 minutes of recess
3. Third mark on desk chart - miss 10 minutes of recess, teacher/student conference
4. Fourth mark on desk chart- miss 10 minutes of recess, silent lunch, contact parents

Gold Stars*
Treasure Box Treats
*Desk charts that have no marks by the end of the week will be given a gold star. Students receiving 4 consecutive gold stars will be “4 Star Kids”, allowing them to participate in a special activity.
When our class accumulates ten sincere compliments from adults throughout our school, we will celebrate with a special activity.
