The Best 9th Grade English & Speech Teacher EVER!
Ms. Bobbie Guillebeau (Rhodes) is a 1997 graduate of Valdosta State University and a 1993 graduate of Lincoln County High School. She has a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education in English and a Master's Degree in English Education. She began her teaching experience at summer school in Lincoln County two days after she graduated from college; she spent the next three years at Glenn Hills High School teaching English and coaching cheerleading. She is currently in her tenth exciting and rewarding year at the Brierpatch where she has served as cheerleading coach and yearbook advisor, among other things. Bobbie wanted to be a teacher all her life…her motivation was headlined by her desire to improve the less-than-perfect ratio of deficient instructors to exceptional teachers. Ms. Guillebeau became Mrs. Rhodes on July 3, 2005, when she married local radio talk show host Austin Rhodes. They welcomed a son into the world (Robert Guillebeau "Beau" Rhodes) on March 17, 2009. |

My Kitty-child!
Atticus Buckward Guillebeau was a Valentine's Day gift in 2004. He was named for Mrs. Rhodes' all-time favorite book To Kill a Mockingbird and the comic strip Get Fuzzy. He loves running up and down stairs, playing with his "woogie," eating treats, and watching over his baby brother Beau. His favorite songs are "You Are So Beautiful" and "You Light Up My Life." |
