| The Best 9th Grade English Teacher Ever!!! |
|
...and a pretty good Speech & Senior English teacher, too!! E-mail me... Barbara Jane Guillebeau was a 1997 graduate of Valdosta State University and a 1993 graduate of Lincoln County High School. She has a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with a specialty in English and a Master's degree in English Education; she is currently pursuing the Gifted Endorsement, as well. Ms. G-beau began her teaching experience at summer school in Lincoln County two days after she graduated from college. She spent the next three years at Glenn Hills High School in Richmond County teaching and coaching the cheerleading squad. Bobbie is currently in her eighth rewarding and exciting year at the Brierpatch where she has proudly served as cheerleading coach for football and basketball, yearbook advisor, PACK representative for the English department, and was Greenbrier High School's representative for Columbia County's Drug Awareness Program; she was also Teacher of the Quarter for Winter 2003. Bobbie wanted to be a teacher all her life...her motivation was headlined by her desire to improve the less-than-perfect ratio of deficient instructors to exceptional teachers. Ms. Guillebeau became Mrs. Rhodes on July 3, 2005, when she married local radio talk show host Austin Rhodes. |

My Kitty-child... E-mail him... Atticus was a Valentine's Day gift in 2004 and was named for Mrs. Rhodes' favorite novel To Kill a Mockingbird and "Bucky" from the Get Fuzzy cartoon strip. Attiboo, as he is sometimes called, loves stairs, nose kisses, and tuna 'n sauce. He is also very proud to have a staff of people who take care of him and treat him like a prince. He thinks he is the luckiest cat in the world!!! |
