Welcome to Mrs. Hayes' room where learning is fun!
Mrs. Hayes is starting her 11th year teaching. She has taught Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, and First Grade. She received her BS in Education and a MED from Georgia Southern. Mrs. Hayes has 2 wonderful children at home, Summer and Blake, and a supportive husband, Paul. She loves working with children and has high expectations of every child that walks into her room. She feels it is important that all children enjoy learning. |

Language Arts Programs
We use Jack and Jilly readers and Building Blocks to teach our children how to read. Be sure to review hop on pop words and read books nightly. This will enable your child to become a life long reader! |

Connections to their World
Kindergarteners learn through doing. Be sure to let you child help you make a grocery list or cook supper. It is also important to give them resposibilities so they can learn important self-help skills! |
