We had a great time trying to catch the leprechaun that visited NCE on Wednesday! We never did catch him but he left us all goodies and a BIG mess in our classrooms. Maybe we will get him next year.
Star Lab is at NCE! The students are learning about the stars and our galaxy. Please help us by making sure your child is wearing socks and shoes they can put on themselves. Also, light up shirts are very distracting in the Star lab. Thanks for your help, while the kids enjoy this special activity!
Report cards are going home today. Sign your child’s report card envelope and take out the report card to keep at home. If you have any questions, contact your child’s teacher.
Spring has sprung today! We are all enjoying the nice weather change. Please help us by reminding your child that school rules must still be followed.
Review number counting skills at home. This includes identifying the number that comes before and after. Also, review counting by 1’s, 5’s, and 10’s to 100.
Our last Kindergarten field trip is Friday, March 26th to Storyland Theatre. We will be seeing Mademoiselle Hood Meets Le Wolf. All permission slips need to be signed and retuned, ASAP!
Sight words and writing sentences are important skills that develop during the last nine weeks in Kindergarten. Many children find these skills difficult to master. Please help your child by reviewing these nightly!
