Syllabus for Senior English |
| All seniors will complete a survey of British Literature. We will cover the history of each time period and read various selections to tie in the literature with the history. My goal is for each of my students to understand how the history and the selections relate to each other. We will also complete a study of four novels and all components of senior project. |
Assignments for Second Semester |
Our novels will include Wuthering Heights, Tuesdays With Morrie, Night, All Quiet on the Western Front, and Things Fall Apart. We will begin the first novel in August and continue reading a novel every other month.
Senior Project--I will have a parent meeting on August 16th at 7:00. Parents will receive a copy of all due dates and an overview of the project itself.
Literature and Grammar will be an ongoing process with four essays assigned for various selections. |
