"It's okay to make mistakes. Mistakes are our teachers- they help us to learn." (John Bradshaw) |
This will be my seventh year at Lewiston Elementary School, and my third in 5th Grade. Upon retiring from the US Army in 1995 after 21+ years I started undergraduate school at Athens State University, and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in 1999. Immediately thereafter I entered the graduate program at the University of North Alabama, receiving my Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education. I have four children, three adult daughters and a 20 year old son. My favorite hobbies are Alabama football, working with plants & trees on the LES campus, fishing, collecting sports cards, motorbike riding, paintball, and collecting Beanie Baby bears. My favorite subjects are Math and Reading, and my favorite author is Andrew Clements!
