STEVENS CREEK SPEAKS
Twentysix 4th and 5th graders write and star in an in-house weekly news program under the direction of Media Specialist, Jeanie Hollis. Monday mornings at 8:35 and Monday afternoons at 3:15 we begin our broadcast with the Pledge, followed by our weekly Anchor Person, Roving Reporter(who covers all the STC happenings for the week), Historian(reporting people and events from that week in history), Poetry Portion, and our featured book.

An Out Of This World Experience
Star Lab
We truly do reach for the stars each school year when Columbia County's inflatable planetarium comes to us. A full week in space is planned for all of our students from the youngest astronauts to the oldest astronomers. Science and Literature are combined as Mrs. Hollis surges through space surrounded by stars and students.

Hola!
Spanish Books
Students at Stevens Creek not only enjoy learning to speak Spanish, but when they visit the Media Center they can check out their favorite children's book written in Spanish. A special Spanish section is located in the Media Center. So, whether a student wishes to read "El Gato Ensombrerado" or "Corre, Perro, Corre" they can find what they need on the shelves of the Media Center.
