Lauren Brooks was awarded the STUDENT of the Month for our whole team. This is such an honor to be nominated by each of your teachers for being such an outstanding student and wonderful role model. CONGRATULATIONS!

Class Notes and Links- Homework ??
Select ONE of the places or individuals to complete the following task:
1. Use a sheet of plian paper or construction paper to make a DOUBLE DOOR foldnote.

2. The top fold will list all the page numbers from the INDEX for the place or indiviual.

3. The bottom fold will list the reference page from the index that includes a illustration, photo, or map.

4. The inside section of the foldnote will have five facts about the place or individual. HEAD the section with the name of the place or the individual.

5. The back of the foldnote will have your name and due date date of this assignment: Nov. 20, 2008.





This assignment will require the use of your textbook. The final product will resemble the DOUBLE DOOR foldnote found on page RO in the student textbook.

BIG NEWS
We have our first elections for Student Council! The candidates impressed us with their awesome ideas for SIMS. The winners make us all proud to be REDHAWKS! We will elect homeroom representatives this week for Student Council!

The Student Council Representatives for our class are Savannah Finley and Emory Carney.

Student Teacher- Tracy Dozier
We are delighted to have Mrs. Tracy Dozier is our student teacher for the Fall-08 semester. She is teaching all four classes in Mrs. Hundt's 6th grade Social Studies class for the next three weeks. This is an exciting time for all of us!
