All about Pre-K |
Our Pre-K classes are for children four years of age on September 1 of the current year and whose parents are Georgia residents. Our program is funded by the Georgia Lottery for Education and is a voluntary program. The goal of our prekindergarten classrooms is to provide the children with the high-quality preschool experiences they need in order to be ready for kindergarten. We help our students develop school readiness skills in an environment that encourages them to have fun while learning. North Harlem Elementary has three Pre-K classes that are filled by a lottery drawing each spring. Contact the school for the date and time. We follow the Columbia County school calendar and attend school from 8:30 to 3:30 each day. For further information, North Harlem's telephone number is 556-5995.
