Lisa Kingery |
My name is Lisa Kingery and this is my 14th year teaching at Lakeside Middle! I grew up in Columbia County and graduated from Evans High School in 1992. I am a 1996 graduate of Georgia College in Milledgeville. I began teaching at Lakeside Middle School just a few months after graduation. I soon went back to school and graduated with a Masters Degree in Interrelated Education from Augusta State University. I recently graduated from Cambridge College with an Educational Specialist degree in Leadership.
I currently teach Math and Academic Elective to seventh graders in my classroom. I also teach Co-teach 7th grade Language Arts with Mrs. Plunkett and Co-teach 8th grade Language Arts with Mr. Kirk.
There are many activities I enjoy in my spare time. One of my favorites is traveling. I'd have to say my favorite trip was my most recent one to Jamaica! In the summer, you can often find me on the beach at Hilton Head (or shopping there)! In the fall, I love going to UGA football games with my parents and friends! You may see me walking after school, as it is one my favorite daily activities. Although I lead a busy life, I love working with your children and the positive impact I have on their lives.
