Who is the Elementary School Counselor? |
The school counselor is a professional who provides guidance services for all students. These services stress academic achievement, decision making, personal and social development. This proactive and developmental program emphasizes early development of a healthy self-concept and respect for the feelings of others in an effort to prevent more serious problems in later school years.
