Welcome to the 5th grade! I will be your Language Arts and Science teacher, while Mr. Buchanan will be your Math and Social Studies teacher. This year will be a very exciting and rewarding year for each student. We look forward to conducting many hands on projects and experiments in every subject area. We will be very busy as we challenge ourselves to prepare for middle school.

My name is Shanna LaFontaine. I grew up in Hephzibah, GA. After I got married in 2003, my husband and I moved to Evans. I graduated from Augusta State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. I love the career I chose and look forward to many wonderful years of working with children.
