Student Support System
Parents, Beginning the second week of each nine weeks grading period students may come in early at 7 AM to type or complete make up work on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday mornings of each week.
Additional Typing Assistance Use the link on the top left side that says "School Safe Games/typing practice" and "Ping Games/Typing Practice" to be linked to a program that will assist your child in practicing their typing skills.

FBLA UPDATE

FBLA is now accepting Club dues for the 2009-2010 school-year. The cost is $15.00 and may be paid to Ms. Lewis in room 201. You do not have to be in a business class to be a member of FBLA.

FBLA Fall Agenda
FBLA Dues are $15 for the school year. This amount will cover State and National FBLA fees. Each member is expected to participate in the competition, fundraising and community service activities throughout the school year.
Twelve students from RMS plus three parent chaperones will be attended the Fall FBLA Rally on October 15, 2009, in Perry, Ga. This wasn a wonderful opportunity for students and parents to learn more about FBLA, its operation, and the vast number of participation this club has acroos the state of Gerogia and the nation. Our students participated in an Opening seesion with a guest motivational speaker, took FBLA tests as a practice for Regional and State Competition, and enjoyed the Georgia State Fair's exhibits, rides, and food.
Thank you to the parents and student body of Riverside Middle school for your assistance in making our new school year with FBLA a success.
Scheduled Fundraisers: Pizza-by-the-slice (cost $1.00) after school fundraiser Monday, Wednesday, and Friday weekly.
Twin Dance is scheduled for November 13, 2009
Competition: Regional January 2010/State March 2010 (Dates, transportation, and competiton destination information will be announced at a later date).
Community Service: Teacher Thanksgiving Appreciation Baskets will be made and distributed to all of the RMS faculty and staff during the week of November 9-13, 2009.
