Please make sure the students read 20 minutes each night. Reading is very important. It increases the students vocabulary, writing skills, and reading skills. The more a child reads, the better reader and writer they will be.
Also, please make sure the students are practicing the math facts. They can use flash cards or computer programs to practice the addition and multiplication facts. They need to have the facts memorized so they can recall them quickly.
