Accelerated Reader goals will be determined by student, teacher, and parent. Each child needs to be reading for AR and moving their passport up the charts by themselves. This will encourage accountability and responsibility. I am also going to take a grade for A.R. throughout the nine weeks. If you feel your child needs extra time to read a longer more challenging book, please send me an email or a note and I can adjust their schedule. The first time that I will add a grade to my gradebook for A.R. will be October 30th. This should give you three weeks to finish a long novel. |
