Class News April 28th - May 2nd
Reading – We will not have a regular reading story from the book this week. We are reading several different types of reading material (magazines, newspapers, brochures, maps, etc.) in class and will be applying our skills as we read. We will not be testing over the individual material we read, but will have skills tests where students are expected to locate information using a variety of reading material. Later in the week, students will choose a book to complete a book report on. You should see the book coming home to begin reading by Friday. Students should bring the book to school daily as we will have a time to read it in class. The book report format and rubric will come home next week.
Reading Counts Ends April 30th.

“YIPPEE” the CRCT is over! Thank you to all my parents who sent in snacks and drinks for our CRCT break times. The students enjoyed their snacks and the break helped them be more comfortable for the 2nd half of testing each day. All the students worked hard and used their skills so they should do well on the test. Thanks for you help in having them prepared.
Thanks for your continued support, Alicia Miller |
