| | Junior Syllabus | | The mission of this course is to enhance students' communication skills through a close study of American Literature. Students will produce advanced analytical, persuasive, descriptive, and narrative writings in conjuction with the Georgia Performance Standards for eleventh grade. Students will prepare for college entry tests such as the SAT and ACT and will acquire new vocabulary words. |

| | Senior Syllabus | | The purpose of Senior english is to prepare students for future endeavors including higher education and the workplace. As this is a college prep level course, students will be expected to produce advanced work and maintain a rigorous level of reading of British and World literature in adherance to the Georgia Performance Standards. Additionally, students will fulfill the requirements of the CCBOE Senior Project as stated in the Senior Project manual. |
